Seriously, the republicans used to mean something, it was the party of Abe and Teddy. Not of Jeb and Marco. When did the republicans became the slaves of corporations, 1% oligarchs, Tea Party racists, religious goons and anti-intellectuals? This party needs to die and reemerge as a new entity, with a new ideology and a new mindset, inspired from the European conservatives, maybe? But not from the bunga bunga guy.

We need to clean the fucking house so to speak and boot out every single fucker we have in the system currently. But it’s too hard to get radical change based on an out dated two party system.

Whats happening to the republican party now is hopefully what happened to the Dems in the 70’s and 80’s, total transformation. Transformation in this case to a more “libertarian” view, and by that I’d say the next time we have a republican president the current conservative view on social issues will not exist in the way it does today, focus on economy and shit like that.

Honestly both parties are in deep with the corporations, they both subscribe to a neo-liberal economy, which is kind of bullshit. Although a modern monetary policy professor was just appoint to the federal reserve advisory board to congress.

Nothing will ever get better until Citizens-United is overturned and serious campaign reform laws are passed. I’d like to see one that limits the Campaign Season to 3 months, instead of two years.

The problem is the current base label Lincoln as a traitor because it’s the solid south party. The solid south party will always be the party like the current republican party. When the democrats were the solid south party they believed in a lot of nonsense as well.

Well, Democrats had Obama in the White House, and Hilary in the second line. They didn’t push their third line as much as the Republicans, so we didn’t have enough time to see their defects as much. But if Hilary isn’t up for the win, they are in big trouble, as they have no Plan B. Jerry Brown could’ve been a great candidate, since he has fixing California after Governor Terminator almost terminated it, on his resume, but it’s a bit too late to introduce him as a possible candidate on a national scale.

As an outsider to American politics, as a Canadian, I think the biggest issue is lobbying. Everyone is getting a paycheque from someone else, and they no longer become the voice of the people, but the voice of corporations. I really think that if American politics wants to function better, that’s the first hurdle they need to overcome.

We have never wanted to shy away from this type of content, and while TCL has some quite nice “gentlemen’s rules” regarding conduct and understanding, they don’t have the traffic Oppo does.

I wasn’t even thinking about Toyota. From my point of view, it seems as if Jerry Brown is doing everything in his power to drive business out of the state. And I mean this on every level. I’ve been trying to start one for years and each time there is a new layer of bureaucracy I have to go through. Legislation on EVERYTHING! I can start the business now, but I can’t afford to hire anyone for the business now. Jerry brown is pouring money into that godamn bullet train to nowhere. (Yes, it would be great, if it actually went anywhere that there are actually people.) And not enough money into things we actually do need, like desalination plants. Don’t get me started on how far up his ass the public unions are. And don’t worry, I’ve plenty bad things to say about the few Republicans we have in place out here too.
